Twitter erupts on Champions League 2017-18 Round of 16 Draw

Defending champions Real Madrid will take on French side Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League this season. The match between the two giants seems to be the biggest fixture of the round in the tournament as it will see one of them get knocked out before the quarter-finals.

The Champions League round of 16 draw took place on Monday in Switzerland and has got the fans already waiting for February. The first leg of the exciting face-off between PSG and Real Madrid will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu on the 13th or 14 of February 2018.

This tie will see Brazilian forward Neymar facing the Spanish champions for the first time after moving to Paris. This match will be a major factor in the former Barcelona man's quest for the Ballon d'Or and The Best FIFA Men's Player awards.

Meanwhile, Manchester United finished atop their group with 15 points from 6 games, which meant they could only end up facing one of Bayern Munich, Juventus, Sevilla, Shakhtar Donetsk, FC Porto, or Real Madrid. However, the Reds fans would've ostensibly breathed a sigh of relief, as Jose Mourinho's side were eventually pitted against La Liga side, Sevilla FC

On the other side, Chelsea faces Barcelona yet again! The two sides will meet for the SIXTH time in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage and it's going to be a mouthwatering one! Cesc Fabregas and Pedro will be facing their former club while Leo Messi will be waiting to play Chelsea – the club he has never managed to score against.
